Belemnite represents a prehistoric group of cephalopods akin to squids, which thrived during the period from the Late Triassic to the Late Cretaceous. Differing from squids, these creatures possessed an inner framework composing the cone structure. These components, arranged from the arm-based section to the extremity, encompassed the tongue-shaped pro-ostracum, the cone-shaped phragmocone, and the tapered guard.
